The acceleration of the degradation of the outer membrane of laundry pods can be achieved by adjusting environmental conditions, optimizing the material formulation, and leveraging external technical means. The specific methods are as follows:

Optimizing Environmental Conditions

  • Controlling Temperature and Humidity: Place the residual outer membranes of laundry pods after use in an environment with a temperature ranging from 25°C to 35°C and a humidity of 60% to 80%. Such temperature and humidity conditions are suitable for the growth and reproduction of microorganisms, which can accelerate the degradation rate of the outer membranes.
  • Adjusting the pH Value: Place the outer membranes of laundry pods in a neutral to weakly alkaline environment (pH value between 7 and 9). Most microorganisms capable of degrading polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) have relatively high activity within this pH range, which helps to accelerate the degradation of the outer membranes.
